About Helen

Even though I immigrated to Canada from China 18 years ago, the year 2014 was a special year for me and my family, when we moved from the mainland of British Columbia to Nanaimo on Vancouver Island. We loved it here right away, and have simply never wanted to leave!

For six years, I owned and operated an award-winning bed and breakfast. During this time, I found that I wanted to acquire more business skills, so I learned accounting, and have worked with H&R Block as a Tax Specialist during tax time. This has helped me gain more experience and more knowledge of the Canadian and BC tax system.

I have a very strong interest in working with numbers, and enjoy performing investment analysis. Seeing the opportunity over the past few years, I had been eager to get personally involved in the vigorous, local real estate market, so I made some investments which met with great success.

When friends have come to Nanaimo looking for new homes or investment properties, I have had the pleasure of assisting them in their searches. It was these exciting property-hunting experiences, and the positive feedback that I received, that finally led me to the decision to gain my realtor’s licence.

I am excited to now be able to provide all of my clients with friendly, helpful service in finding the right home or investment property, while keeping a sharp eye turned toward getting them the best value.

Without a doubt, Vancouver Island is one of the best places in the world to raise a family. Nanaimo has got everything that you could want to experience in nature, with easy access to nature-focused activities like fishing, crabbing, hiking, seasonal skiing and snowboarding, as well as year-round boating, golfing, and gardening. For my husband, daughter, and two dogs, coming to Vancouver Island has been much like stumbling upon an extraordinary Paradise. I would love to open up this wonderful part of the world to you.
