My name is Les Horne and I am Proud to be a Licensed Realtor with eXp Realty Canada. 

It is a Dream come true for me to have raised our children Keynan, Amber & Jade on Vancouver Island.

I was adopted to Island Life in 1975 at the age of 16 after moving from my home Province of Saskatchewan via Saskatoon, Waskesiu, Meadow Lake and Prince Albert. Our family of 7 moved to the Island when my father Bob took a position on the West Coast of the Island with the Canadian Government's Newly Sanctioned Pacific Rim Park Reserve. Tucked between Ucluelet and Tofino on the Traditional Ancestral Lands of the Nuu-chah-nuth First Nations lies the Crown Jewel of the Park Reserve, Long Beach. My Dad is now going into his 49th year of residence in Ucluelet and we still spend time on many of the local Beaches such as Chestermans, McKenzie, Cox Bay, Tonquin, Wickaninnish or Honeymoon Bay to name a few and am as Awestruck in their Beauty today as when I walked them for the very first time. My intentions were after my High School Graduation in 1976 to go back to Saskatoon and live with my Grandparents while attending the University of Saskatchewan to pursue a degree and career in Civil Engineering. It did not take long for this Prairie Boy to become forever attached to the Mystic of the Wild West Coast and its people. My Heart spoke to me and the Island was now MY Forever Home.

My Roots in Sales goes back to when I was a young boy and got my first taste of service related work in the Selling & Delivering of Newspapers/Flyers, followed up as a Golf Caddy, then working as a Bicycle Messenger Boy, (sang a few Happy Birthdays in my time) Babysitter and being a Handiman/Gopher for a Small Renovation Company. 

I have always enjoyed being around people and making them Smile and Laugh. It was these early years that I realized the Importance of Great Service and its  Importance in Relationships thru the Power of Understanding that as humans we all share more Commonality then Differences. I finished high school while working part time at the Ucluelet Esso station before starting my adult working career with a short stint at the CNFC Fish Plant in 1976 then moving on to an Exciting 10 Year Career in the Logging Industry. While working in the Great West Coast Rain Forests I was fortunate to work for companies like McMillan Bloedel, Robbie Log and R.W. Saunders & Sons. When the forests would shut down in the summer due to Fire Season I would bounce back and forth working between the Fishing Docks of Ucluelet & Tofino. I left the West Coast in 1986 to the East Coast of the Island and settled in Parksville, where our family resides today. From here I began a 37 year plus career in the Sales and Service Industries that continues to this day. 

With regards to my personal involvement in Real Estate I had my first experience buying property when I was 18 (needed a co-signer) and have since invested in both Residential and Commercial Properties which I can honestly say have brought me the best return on any investment I have ever made and in many cases brought me a home were we created magic moments and memories to cherish forever. 

I  have had the wonderful good fortune to have worked with over 4,000 Happy Customers from across this Island, Canada and the United  States and this has provided my family this Wonderful Island Life. We attribute a large part of our Real Estate success to our extensive clientele and the large network of over 89,000 plus eXp Agents across the globe we collaborate with to share or find your next property.  The Beauty of this extensive knowledge network is that these life lessons and connections are easily transferrable from us to you.
